An overview of our standards

ISO 9001:2015

Systematic quality management

ISO 9001 forms the foundation for an effective quality management system. It ensures that processes are not left to chance, but are systematically controlled, monitored and improved. This enables you to reduce complaints, bring clarity to day-to-day operations and document quality that can be verified – both internally and externally.

Greater process reliability, less waste and fewer costs arising from defects

Clearly defined responsibilities & audit-proof QM documentation

Ready for certification in 3–6 months – even if you have no existing system

IATF 16949:2016

Automotive quality of the highest standard

IATF 16949 is the global quality standard for automotive suppliers. It is based on ISO 9001, but extends it to include specific customer requirements (CSR), risk-based guidelines and the mandatory use of core tools such as FMEA, SPC and MSA. We support you in implementing these requirements in a way that works in day-to-day operations – not just for the sake of certification, but for your overall supply performance.

Certification assurance despite stringent OEM requirements

Systematically avoiding errors: effectively implementing and using core tools

Ensure supply capacity and position yourself as the preferred supplier

ISO 14001:2015

Making environmental management measurable

We help you to systematically assess environmental aspects such as energy, water, waste and emissions, reduce risks and quantify potential savings. Whether in manufacturing, logistics or administration – ISO 14001 becomes a concrete efficiency strategy rather than merely a matter of compliance.

Staying on top of regulatory requirements, even at complex sites

Conservation of energy, water and materials

ESG reporting enhances the organisation’s image among customers, banks and public authorities

ISO 45001:2018

Systematically embedding health and safety at work

With an effective occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 45001, you can minimise health risks, meet your legal obligations and establish a sustainable safety culture. This takes the pressure off your managers, protects your staff and increases organisational resilience, particularly at a time of growing demands on safety and accountability.

Reducing workplace accidents and absenteeism

Compliance with legal obligations and assurance of evidence

Strengthening the safety culture and enhancing the organisation’s appeal as an employer

ISO 13485

Quality assurance for medical devices

QMH supports medtech manufacturers, suppliers and service providers not only in complying with ISO 13485, but also in ensuring it is effectively implemented in their operations: for secure regulatory approvals, robust processes and comprehensive documentation.

Early identification and management of information risks

Building trust with customers, partners and public authorities

Resilience against cyber threats, data loss and IT failures

IATF 16949:2016

Automotive quality of the highest standard

IATF 16949 is the global quality standard for automotive suppliers. It is based on ISO 9001, but extends it to include specific customer requirements (CSR), risk-based guidelines and the mandatory use of core tools such as FMEA, SPC and MSA. We support you in implementing these requirements in a way that works in day-to-day operations – not just for the sake of certification, but for your overall supply performance.

Reducing internal workload through implementation support

Documented in a transparent manner – including for MDR, FDA and others.

Experience gained from supporting numerous audits – including international ones

EN 9100:2018

Entry requirements for aerospace suppliers

EN 9100 is essential for companies wishing to supply parts, components or systems to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the aerospace sector. QMH ensures that your quality management system complies with the complex requirements of the standard – including seamless traceability, auditability and comprehensive documentation.

Access to global supply chains in the aerospace industry

Approval as a supplier to OEMs and Tier 1 partners worldwide

Strengthening your position in tenders through process reliability

TISAX

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Why should my company implement a management system?

A structured management system is far more than just a formality. It lays the foundations for consistent processes, demonstrable quality and sustainable development – both internally and externally. It protects your company from risks, strengthens your competitive position and provides staff with clear guidance in their day-to-day work. Those who understand and have a firm grasp of their processes can react more quickly, make better decisions and optimise them in a more targeted manner.

Is a management system only useful for large companies?

Quite the contrary: small and medium-sized enterprises in particular benefit greatly from clear structures, efficient processes and transparent documentation. A practical management system grows alongside the business, promotes professional conduct and enables the company to present itself confidently to customers, regulatory authorities or banks – without excessive administrative burden.

What sets QMH apart from traditional certification consultants?

We don’t work with off-the-shelf templates, but with genuine insights into your processes, your risks and your culture. Our consultants don’t come in pointing fingers, but with a clear perspective and a wealth of experience in manufacturing, engineering, SMEs and auditing. We know how to not only comply with a standard, but also to improve efficiency, clarify responsibilities and ease the burden of day-to-day operations in the process.

Our solutions aren’t developed in the training room, but through dialogue with the people who will eventually have to work with them – from the managing director right down to the operational staff. That’s why our approach works not only for auditors, but above all for you.

How long does it take to obtain certification?

The duration depends on the maturity of your existing system, the complexity of your organisation and the standard you are aiming for. With a clearly structured approach and committed cooperation from the client, it is often realistic to achieve certification within 3 to 6 months. We prioritise the key components and guide you efficiently towards your goal with a pragmatic roadmap.

What if I want to implement several standards at the same time?

A major advantage lies in the structural similarity of many standards (e.g. the HLS structure). QMH helps you to capitalise on synergies and avoid duplication of effort – for example, through combined processes, joint audits or integrated management handbooks. This saves time, increases acceptance within the organisation and significantly reduces complexity.

How does QMH prepare me and my team for the certification audit?

On request, we can carry out an internal mock audit, during which typical questions, supporting documentation and processes are reviewed. This ensures your team is well prepared, any potential weaknesses are identified in advance – and you can approach the external audit with confidence.
